- Urgent appeal to CERD under its Early Warning and Urgent Action Procedure on the Situation of Bengali-Speaking Muslims in Assam (August 2023): Urgent Appeal to the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD), highlighting human rights violations and discriminatory practices against Bengali-speaking Muslims in India’s Assam state, since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) assumed power at the federal level in 2014 and in Assam in 2016.
